We have a great opportunity for a confident and technical Senior Finance Analyst to join our Financial Reporting team within Vistry Services, at our Devonshire Square office in London.
The Financial Reporting team manages the production of the consolidated financial information for the annual report and accounts, the financial statements for the Group’s subsidiaries, and the reporting and budgeting for central service functions. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in enhancing the Group’s financial reporting processes, partnering with regions to deliver technical accounting and process support, and managing relationships with the Group’s external auditors to help deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

- ACA/ACCA professional qualification or equivalent international qualification;
- 2+ years post-qualification experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102;
- Confident interpreting and applying accounting standards to complex transactions;
- Excellent organisational skills with proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in line with strict deadlines;
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills;
- Experience working with or for external auditors;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs;
- Ability and confidence to challenge processes and implement change;
- Initiative and a drive to succeed.
Desirable…
- Experience working with large Groups and involvement in the consolidation process for external reporting;
- Experience with contract accounting, ideally within the housebuilding or wider construction industry;
- Experience within a group external reporting role, partnering with regional or departmental business units.

- External reporting – playing a key role in the preparation of the Group’s external results for both the Half Year and Full Year, working closely with the external auditors and other senior stakeholders across the business from planning to completion;
- Driving the development of the monthly Group consolidation process to ensure prompt and regular reporting to senior management;
- Financial statement production – supporting the Group Finance Manager in the preparation and review of the subsidiary statutory accounts, including partnering with all stakeholders to ensure the accounts are prepared, audited, reviewed, and filed on time;
- Partnering with divisional and regional finance teams:
- Building relationships with regional Finance teams through regular communication and technical accounting support;
- Providing support with the preparation of information required for regional reporting submissions, including taking on feedback to improve processes;
- Collating information from regional finance teams to provide narrative on trends in consolidated results.
- Process improvement – Reviewing the existing financial reporting processes, suggesting improvements and overseeing the implementation of these improvements from start to finish;
- Finance transformation projects – Adding value by supporting the Financial Reporting team with projects that drive continuous improvement throughout the wider Group
