As our Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will deliver strategy and support to the senior commercial team to deliver strategy, making operational decision on behalf of the team, while mentoring junior members of staff.

More about the Senior Quantity Surveyor role…
- Responsible for delivery of robust and ethical procurement practices.
- Prepare, review and present subcontractor recommendations to Managing Surveyor/Senior Commercial Manager.
- Review and prepare subcontractor Articles of Agreement.
- Responsible for resolving contractual disputes and legal matters in a timely manner for assigned project(s).
- Implement ethical subcontract administration practice and drive continuous quality and efficiency improvement.
- Lead the collation of project cost report and present to Managing Surveyor/Senior Commercial Manager at monthly cost report meetings.
- Responsible for ensuring high standards of cash flow forecasting.
- Lead the collation of project cash flow and present to Managing Surveyor/Senior Commercial Manager at cash flow meetings.
- Provide supporting information to facilitate build contracts.
- Ensure Joint Venture partners are informed of project progress (When applicable).
- Maintain positive and successful client relationships.
- Ensure that all funding conditions precedent are fulfilled.
- Attend pre-construction to operations project handover meetings.
- Provide continuous feedback to pre-construction of current market rates to inform our pre-commencement submissions.
- Create an environment to drive engagement and high performance.
- Manage the performance of team, 121s and appraisals.
- Role model and drive the practice of Vistry Group People Behaviours.
- Undertake regular team meetings.
- Drive engagement and collaboration across all departments.
- Support implementation of Health & Safety policy for department and supply chain.
- Implement Building a Living Legacy strategy.
